Okay this looks epically good. It's premiering in Europe right now and has an amazing cast. Done by Frank Miller who did '300' and 'Sin City' and once again its a comic book adaptation. It comes out Christmas Day. I know where I will be!

Has Sneaker culture been 'shelved'?

It seems the more you see of something the less popular it becomes. Take kicks. Limited edition and high profile, these sneakers are everywhere. Custom, one of a kind or limited edition. Pick one but sport them with style. Not since the early 90's has their been such a rush on sneakers. Well the newest news is that 'custom kicks' are on the decline. Website SNEAKERPLAY.COM just shut down and now more and more website's are voicing the same opinion. According to Jason Wilk of the TinyComb;

I’m sure those of you have noticed, it is becoming less and less common running into guys wearing their custom Nike shoes around town, and the feeling in the community is we will start to see even less. Shoes releases have become less frequent and lines at them have become shorter than usual. What does this mean for Nike? Well, the culture behind them is what brought them up and is what will easily bring them down. This of course in addition to the struggling economy that is producing less shoe sales.

Really? Say what you might but I think custom kicks have come a long way. Although Planet Funk has yet to carry them (check PLAY@Planet Funk for kids kicks though) I think these are still everywhere and as long as there are sneakers, there will be sneaker lovers. One of my favorite DJs in the whole electronic/house scene has to be David Guetta. The man is genius with his mixes and has been powering the dance floors of the world with amazing music since way back when. His new hit on ULTRA Records, "Love Is Gone" is just scintillating and makes me want to dance my pants off. Check out this video and try not to dance out of your office. There is an ad in the beginning of this video I apologize for and the beginning is PG-13 for you youngsters so um, close your ears for the first 30 seconds. Otherwise rock it!

Those two have been frenemies for years. Is this just another rumor being dropped by Carine's camp or is it really getting that bad at Vogue US? Subscriptions are down very low. He is one smooth brother. 'Just Like Me' with T.I. is an exception. I think everyone else should throw in the towel after this song. Jamie Foxx is truly an actor-gone-singer I love. No one is gonna steal that title after 'Goldigger' and this....

Looks like Gwen Stefani is a marketing machine and a half! Who cares if she just had a newborn, the woman is a business mogul. It's been reported that Gwen is going to have a Harajuku Lovers float in the parade. This photo just popped up on the internet last night that a lucky fan took who got to see it.
